Safeguarding Our Identity
Beirut Heritage cares for more than 200 heritage sites that remain standing in the capital of the Phoenician Empire. Our activities are focused on the documentation, preservation and education of the cultural treasures that shaped Beirut’s unique and heart-catching identity, defined through its traditional literature, arts, social customs, architecture, folklore, and heritage houses that still defy their continuous threat of being demolished.
Our Heritage
Heritage, in all its tangible and intangible forms, is a universal human language that nations compete to preserve and respect, because it forms the essence and concept of identity, and is considered one of the most important pillars of civilization, and a source of pride and sovereignty for it.
"We are dedicated to help our beautiful Beirut to remain the flower of Phoenicia"
