Our team of volunteer engineers and architects are always on the move to investigate, document, and advise on the rennovation techniques and intricate documentation of Beirut’s Heritage Houses and Landmarks.

Beirut Heritage Society’s many scholars, historians, and academics from near and far have a great passion to documenting, educating and carrying on the legacy of Beirut’s historical landcapes, urbanism, structures, landmarks, society and the community through the years

Taking on an extended variety of educational experiences and journeys through Beirut’s Heritage and Historical Treasures, Beirut Heritage Society hosts several events that bring together scholars, socialites, and prominent figures to celebrate Beirut’s History and valuable traditions through symposiums, seminars, exhibitions to bring to everyone literary, artistic and photographic depictions of Beirut, its traditions, customs, poetry, and many other elements that constituted Beirut’s valuable heritage.

Beirut Heritage Society continuously hosts honorary awards ceremonies bestowed upon prominent and influencing Beiruti’s who have left a memorable mark in the universe of Beirut in different areas of expertise, social, artistic, cultural and athletics, and even those who have left a distinct footprint in our heritage memories through their artistic passion for Beirut’s Golden Age, constituting the unique Beiruti social fabric. The Society has always been keen on honoring such personalities and prominent figures in their life or postumously, commemorating their great achievements.

Among Beirut Heritage Society’s activities also include the preparation and fostering of educational and richly cultural field trips to various areas across Lebanon, including cultural centres, libraries, museums, and heritage and historical locations in collaboration with the most prominent and prestige tourism transport operators.

Carried out in collaboration with administrative boards in various schools to accompany school students in field trips to accustom and introduce them to historical and heritage locations within the capital city and giving them an educational experience to significant historical facts relevant to those locations.

One of the core interests of Beirut Heritage Society lies within the sharing and exchange of heritage, historical and cultural information, experiences, and researches.

Those activities include paperback and digital circulars and authored materials distribution and aid of researchers in distributing their works, in addition to carrying out Book Reviews of such works at leading cultural centres in Beirut in the presence of their authors.
